food saver mac and cheese?
If I put some mac and cheese in a foodsaver bag (vacuuming out all the air and sealing) will it stay fresh without being refrigerated?
My husband likes to take stuff with milk (macaroni and cheese with hamburger) to work but doesn't have a refrigerator (construction) so will it be ok if it's not refrigerated?
There is no microwave...he usually just eats it luke warm
And he won't use ice/ice packs in his lunch box.
he's getting tired of sandwiches and i just wondered.

I do this for my hubby all the time. He is a mobile autoglass installer and lives in his work van.
Take a thermos and fill it half way with boiling water. Stick your foodsaver bag into the thermos. Your mac & chez will stay nice and warm and you will have a happy hubby!

Vacuum seal a mylar bag with a food saver
How long will chicken breast last in the fridge after using a foodsaver to remove all the air from the bag?

I meant to say cooked (grilled) chicken breast.
Maybe my stomache is stronger than all of yours becuase before foodsaver I routinely left cooked chicken in fridge 5-6 days before eating with no ill effects.
Please let me know what your opinions are about cooked chicken in the fridge in a foodsaver bag without any air.
Well the foodsaver manual says it makes food last 3 times as long so id say just to triple the time it normally would. it would also depend if its cooked or raw
