Using a Foodsaver?
I want to use my Foodsaver to freeze corn cut from the cob, but I am unsure how to do it. Anyone ever try it and what is the best way?
My mom used to freeze corn all the time and she did not do anything special - just seal and freeze. It turned out great.

Making and re-using Foodsaver bags?
How can I make my own but re-use them? I had tried this w/ a quart size bag but in order to cut into the bag, I won't be able to re-seal it. There is about 3 inches on the top but won't leave me enought room to re-seal it.
Is this easier to do when you make your own bags?
Can someone explain to me how to do this so I can put salad in a bag, vacuum it but be able to open it and re-seal it? Thanks
