Pump N Seal

No Honda water-pump rebuild for 919 WHY...no seals available?
I read that you said that a Honda 919 water-pump cannot be rebuilt. Ok. I just wondered if you knew "why"? Are no seals/bearings/whatever(--please say specifically) available? Honda, like many manufacturers has (--I feel) predatory pricing on parts/dis-continue parts such that some models HAVE to be retired to "static" status, because the parts are no longer made, and that makes riding them a "safety issue". I personally feel one of the decent things the first-world could do for non-profits that service the 3rd-world, is to come up with "fixes" where there are presently none. Africa(--U.N.?) has a project where health-care workers are trained to maintain their own bikes to be able to reach their village clientel, what with the often deplorable condition of roads in the interiors of the African states. IF...a 919 COULD...be maintained in Africa, it'd be great for the info to be available, although I expect the "Honda 90 step-through" would probably be the more usual transport.
just remember that the 919 suposedly uses the 900 engine from one of the 90's CBR900RR / Fireblade. If so, I would assume that the water pumps are the same too. It'd be a good idea to do some research on the motor, find out which CBR motor it is and look for 919 parts that way. I was told that the 599 uses the CBR600 F3 (1995-1998) motor. Look into it and you might actually find a way to get some cheaper parts, espcially when they're a few years older, but the same part.

Sump Pump hookup in a leaking well...?
I have a well in the country that occasionally fills with water (as much as a foot or so) when it rains a lot. I have no idea where the water is coming from since I have sealed the block walls with UGL DryLok and sealer.
So, I thought about installing a sump pump. I'n not that good with electricity, so please excuse my dumbness. I have a 220 volt grey wire coming into the well which powers the pump. It's wired directly into a switch which can turn off the well pump if needed. Is there any way I can wire in an outlet for a sump pump into the existing wiring...especially since it's running at 220v? Or, do I need to run a new wire?
Any thoughts on the wiring and/or where water could potentially be coming in would be most helpful.
Thanks...
sonofbrunhilde....apparently you are without a clue anyways...so don't bother answering people's questions. How many people have a water well in their basement? If I meant a pit, I would have said a pit.
Most sump pumps I have worked with are 110 volts and require a neutral and a ground. Most 220 lines usually don't carry a neutral. Even if it were possible you may exceed the total amps on that circuit if both pumps ran at the same time, tripping the breaker every time this happens. For peace of mind run the separate line.As far as the water I would trench out to a lower point and add a drainage pipe,at the termination bury a 55 gal barrel and fill it with rock.
