Can a 7 year old female rabbit still get pregnant?

I have had a female rabbit for several years now and we have recently added an approximately 9 month old male rabbit to our family. They are obviously kept in separate cages. But they get along well and I wanted to let them out for exercise together. I just don't want end up with more bunnies then I can handle lol. Does anyone know when a female rabbit bunny bearing years are over lol?

a rabbit stops produceing when its dead..however if she has never had bunnies before it may not happen because they vet fat around the overies as they get older. I have had 5 year old rabbits have litters up to the day they died but they had always been breeders from the age of 1.

So I am saying that its possable but less likly. I would say to get the male fixed and then let them play together after that.

My Rabbit has a hupping problem, is this normal?

I have a boy rabbit, and he's been hupping on everything! First it was the fake rabbit I have, then it was the teddy bear I have, and now it's a pillow. I keep taking him away from that object, but he keeps coming back. Why is he hupping? Is it his sex hormones? Am I doing the right thing of taking him away from that object? My rabbit had never had this hupping problem till now, and I take him away from that object because what if A real pet came into our house, and will he start hupping it? I don't think it's right to be hupping things, cause it gives him bad manners, but should he be hupping?

This is very normal for male rabbits who reach an age when breeding is possible. There is honestly nothing you can do about it, the best way to fix this is--only if he is pure bred, papered and you have a market for the kits--breed him to a female of the same breed. Neutering rabbits is a ridiculous fix to a problem that is not that bad, not to mention it is expensive and can be a risky surgery on a small rabbit. His testosterone hormones are on the rise right now, once he gets older it will become less frequent and will stop eventually, but it takes a few years for that. The best thing you can do is just pick up any plush objects that look welcoming. Typically a rabbit will not bother a person like a dog might.

hope this helps
