Red Cold Cuts
My husbands arm is swollen, red and tingly?
It has been hurting him up at the shoulder for about 6 weeks now... and today the whole arm became red and swollen and he says it feels cold and tingly, kinda like when they take your blood pressure and your arm gets squeezed. He says he thinks the circulation is getting cut off. What would cause this and should he see a doctor about it now or wait til Monday morning?
Thank you. He just left to take himself to the ER at my request. I have to stay here with our 3 kids. At least the hospital is close!
He should go to the doctor now, his symptoms sound a little like compartment syndrome. This occurs when swelling becomes severe enough to put pressure on nerves and blood vessels & it is a serious problem. Different things can cause it like bleeding from a torn muscle or abscesses & fluid collections from infection. It could also be a clot. If your doctor is still available today he should go see him now, if not, you should take him to the ER.

Why do so many people say they don't eat meat but...?
Why do so many people say they don't eat meat but they eat fish and chicken, cold cuts and other critters. I have seen this so many times. They only call red meat and or beef meat. Fish and chicken are also meats.
HEHEHEHEHE! I don't eat red meat but I do eat fish and chicken. I guess it is because we are crazy because your right they are meat!.....What can I say? I'm nutts!

I'm with you. I never could quite get my head wrapped around the notion of cold cuts for breakfast. I love visiting europe and could easily see my self moving there one day, especially to Germany, but breakfast is just one thing that I can't quite un-Americanize my self about. For me, breakfast means two eggs, toast, bacon and lots and lots of very black coffee.
