You can get both of those at Walmart! I got my food sealer there last year, I love it.
I have used one for years. I love it. I freeze sauces and stews, You just can't let the air suck out completely if at all. The meat stays fresh with no freezer burn. One other thing that is good is, if you freeze a stew you can just put the bag in a pot of boiling water to heat it, no mess to clean up.
You must buy the bags tho recommended for the machine. Yes they can be expensive but in the long run you will save money and remember you won't be using them for everything you buy. I use the bags only if I am not using the meat and sauces for a few weeks after buying. No odor comes through the bag if this is what your asking. Hope this helps.

no, i don't have one, specifically because of the price.
I buy the two packs of chicken at costco about a dozen at a time, then spend an hour or two breaking them down into their individual parts and sealing them with a food sealer. It takes me a little longer if I de-bone. I then take the remaining parts from them and make stock. I bought a pre-cooked chicken once when I was feeling lazy….never again.
