You don’t need much equipment. The basic vacuum sealer cost me $50, I hold a $10 plastic immersion thermometer in the pot with a twist-tie and the Creuset is just a big pot with a lid. The most expensive part is paying for a computer and internet connection to find good marinade recipes.
"FoodSaver" be one of the better brands on the market (have one) butttt, the co$t is a bit high. 2nd link is for a' Deni on ebay that's a' pocketbook saver, might add that it has free Shipping & Handling, now as for the quality, that I'm not sure of… 3rd link is sealers and bags on ebay w/ their "Buy Now" option. Hope it helps out somewhat;)…
