Cement house and paint?
Where I live houses are made completely out of cement blocks including interior walls. The problem is that there seems to be a lot of moisture in the walls. Many people end up with paint peeling off the wall about 6 inches above the baseboards. If there is a shower, toilet, sink on the other side then the entire area may have paint peeling problem. It isn't about broken pipes just condensation.
Is there some kind of sealer than can be put on the cement blocks first? Should the water pipes be insulated?
Do you know a possible solution?
Yes they make a sealer for the block before you paint, but you can also use epoxy paint it seals it also. Yes the pipes should have been insulated . Blocks are porous and they are required by code to seal them from the outside, so you may want to check the outside of the house and try to keep the water from coming in.

What is the best way to seal a cracked bumper?
We backed into a car which created a bit of a crack (about 2 inch) in the rear bumper on my friends 97 Honda civic. It is plastic so it can't be too hard to do. Anyone know a good sealer so we can fix and paint over?
the bumper is still intact, sides are fairly flush still
Yes its easy to repair go to a marine or boat parts supplyer and by a small strip of fiberglass dynal cloth and small amount of resin 2 pott,you apply the cloth and resin to the inside with a small paint brush, a couple of coats of resin a few hours between coats, when dry fill on the outside with normal fiberglass sand and paint the normal way. The resin and cloth on the inside holds the crack together so the finished bumper will always be good.
