Sealer Kit
Is acrylic floor sealer the same as the kit that you mix for cement floors?
the salesman said the only difference was the "sprinkles" you can add to the paint and a cleaner
You can buy both products in acrylic or water-based forms. However, there are more differences than the "sprinkles" (which you don't mix in the paint they are sprinkled over the surface and server no purpose but to look nice and help hide the overlap areas because you roll the epoxy in 4 by 4 sections) and the cleaner (which isn't actually a cleaner it's an etching solution that make the concrete porous enough to allow the epoxy kits to stick) One major difference is sealers tend to only be clear, with the exception of a few exterior "sealers" which have color and behave similar to concrete stains. The Epoxy's typically come in gray and tan and can be mixed in a variety of colors (rustoleum epoxyshield offers about 30). Another difference is you can buy exterior sealers but epoxy's can't be left exposedto the elements they have to be covered. Also, sealers wear off and need to be reapplied, usually every 5 to 10 years, epoxy's if they are applied properly, shouldn't chip, flake or wear, though like all paints they are susceptible to fading.

I found this posting on craigslist....Would I be able to install that in my 08 Civic? Is it worth it?
COMPLETE SOUNDS- 2 12in. Alpine TypeR Subs (like new condtion) with a hardcore, homemade, sealed box- 3/4MDF with screws and sealer painted black, made to specs, but as small as can be (fits into toyota extra cab). On top of box is Hifonics Bxi1600 amp- 1600wattRMS. 3200wattMAX. Has all the adjustments-LPF, Sub-sonic-filter, EQ, etc.(In good working condtion). Also have fuse kit for amp and some wiring. NOT PARTING OUT, SELLING WHOLE, AS-ONE! SOUND GREAT! i like the sealed sound better, more tight and still got the lows, with a ported box this setup will VIBE!!! LOUD!

The "sandpaper" in the epoxy repair kit is supposed to be used to "sand" the area around the leak, NOT to cover the leak. Sand the area; put the mastic putty over the hole / crack; apply a layer of epoxy over the leak; apply the fiberglass cloth & cover with another layer of epoxy till the fiberglass matte is completely soaked through. If this is a serious question, you just did the entire repair WRONG. Are you sure that's a Jag you're working on? Next time, READ the instructions that come with the kit. Sandpaper is used for sanding !!
