Sealer System What is good to use as protection and sealer.?
We painted our bath room counter top with water base paint using a hvlp system and now we need to protect and seal the new paint, what should we use to get a clear non shinning finish? We was thinking about automotive clearcoat,but, it shines and we would like to use something with less shine.
I tried Glazing clear like you use on pottery and the coverage was great however it also shines and will leave marks if you set a hot cup of coffee on it.
you should go for the matte finish paint, only then u will not get the shiny surface.

How do you build a pavement/asphalt/driveway seal-coating machine, that sprays the sealer with a spray wand?
Any info from self-employed seal-coating professionals, would be greatly appreciated, as well as information from an individual that has made this machine for themselves. Especially, where to buy the lowest priced engines/Transfer or Diaphragm pumps, agitation systems, spray tips, hose and wand...
To build this there are two issues that you will have to resolve. First is the level of performance you will get out of a sealer that may have to be thinned to move through spray equipment. Secondly there is the issue of cleaning out the equipment so that over time it will not clog from built up layers inside of the mechanism.
But if it is possible to pump concrete than this should not be impossible. Spray equipment will probably total more than $2000.
