Vacuum Sealers
what is a good brand of vacuum sealer that can also seal liquids.?
I use the FoodSaver, available from Wal-Mart and ShopCo.
An optional extra are devices that will seal standard and wide mouth canning jars. I think there may also be one to reseal soda bottles also, but I've never used it.
I do use the canning jar sealers a lot, tho. I pack leftovers into canning jars, seal them and put them into the frig rather than freezing them. They last for a week easy, and it doesn't make any difference how wet the food is.

Vacuum sealer beef aging?
I want to know what tye of beef should I use for aging and how can I do it with a vacuum sealer in Refrigerator?
Any type of beef may be used.Beef may appear darker after vacuum sealing, due to the removal of oxygen, but this will not affect the quality or flavor of the meat. For best results, when marinating in a Seal-a-Meal Vacuum Storage Bag, pre-freeze the meat.If it’s not possible to pre-freeze, place a folded paper towel between meat and top of bag, but below seal area. Leave paper towel in bag to absorb excess moisture and juices during vacuum packaging process.

Ditto – this so reminds me of ….well, I have absolutely nowhere to put my useless bits and bobs since I hid all the ashtrays to discourage smokers. Not that it discourages them – they just go out in the garden and force all the birds to breathe in toxins. I wish I had a recipe book rack… sigh….And as for one of those vacuum sealers, I am positive that I need one, it's just the lack of space that is a problem.
