Accidentally put Cinnamon Rolls in Freezer?
My husband and I were unloading groceries the other day and I told him "everything in that bag goes in the freezer" and I was wrong. I accidentally had him put the tube of cinnamon roll dough in the freezer. I just saw them today and they've probably been in there a few days. On the package it says "do not freeze, refrigerate only".
Can I still make them? I mean I know I can, and I understand the yeast has been affected and they wont rise properly, but will they taste OK?
I'd like to make them for breakfast in the morning...
a few months ago i left out the cinnamon rolls and it i guess the yeast activated and when I went to open it up to make them it popped well more like exploded all over my kitchen...I still have some on my ceiling..forgot about that...
go ahead and try it....just becareful when you open it..

Pumpkin Rolls--how long in freezer and how to thaw...?
I know you can freeze pumpkin rolls. How long can they remain frozen and how to you thaw them? Thanks!

I make my pumpkin rolls at Halloween, I make about 15, defrost them for Thanksgiving and Xmas for gifts. I set them on a cookie sheet in the fridge overnight. The longest I have left one in the freezer was about 5 months. It tasted stale. I would not go over 3 months. Good Luck-- Cheryl

when i make lemon tart i leave the water out to try and stop the pastry from shrinking when i blind bake it, it works fine- and doesn't shrink as much
Here is an easy recipe of mine for chocolate cookies. You can put the dough into plastic wrap and freeze it and cut off what you want to bake off when you're ready.
