Large Canister
Kenmore heavy duty carpet cleaner is not dispensing water?
It is a large Kenmore Heavy Duty (canister) carpet and upholstery cleaner. I'm borrowing it from my parents, got it hooked up, no water is dispensing. They said it worked perfectly fine the last time they used it *frequently as they have a new puppy*. I am using vinegar and water. They suggested a clog in the water line, how would I find that?
If was working perfectly fine and then suddenly stopped dispensing water, it more than likely has a bad pump.
I had the same situation with my Bissell carpet/upholstery cleaner and it cost $80.00 for a vacuum repair center to replace the pump.

FLUVAL FX5 Canister Filter
Is a 36 gallon bow front aquarium to small for a canister filter?
This week I'll purchase a Aqueon 36 gal bowfront tank. What would be the best filter to get for this tank size. My fish choice was 1 or 2 fancy goldfish/or I might go tropical. I still have some time to do more research. I just need help on deciding what filter to get...a HOB or canister. I've read that canister filters are for large tanks. Please give name of filter and model no#. I really would prefer a canister if possible. Thanks in advance.
First, I'd go for tropical fish, as goldfish are actually cold water fish. Cold water contains a lot more oxygene than warmer water. If goldfish are kept at temperatures above 22°C/72°F, they begin to suffer from the low levels of oxygene present.
It would be difficult to find a cannister filter, which wouldn't be overkill for a tank that size. I'd go for an internal filter as my first choice and possibly a HOB as my second or third. I do like these air driven sponge filters and use them in most of my tanks, unless my fish actually need a certain amount of water flow in the tank:

They're very easy to maintain and easy to clean - just rinse them in water at around the same temperature as the water in the tank once every 6 or 8 weeks. It does take care of both mechanical and biological filtration and has the added bonus of being absolutely fry safe. They do require an air pump to run, though.

I just binged. Really really badly. I haven't binged this badly in about a year.
After a normal day of eating and calorie counting….
I ate…
4 small bags of microwave popcorn
1 large bag of microwave popcorn
5 cans of soup
1/2 of an entire large canister of raw Ovaltine powder, straight up
2 hot chocolates
1/2 a gallon of soymilk
I know why this happened too. I have these vitamin supplements that I take in case calorie counting makes me miss out on some essential nutrients. I was having REALLY bad PMS AND I had not been disciplined about taking my vitamins for about the past five days. I started having SEVERE cravings for salt and chocolate (probably craving calcium and magnesium, two main ingredients in my supplements) …. in order to make up for the backlog of missing nutrients my body told me to go insane and binge.
I hate myself now!
I thought I had cured myself of binging! Its been like a year siince I binged! God, it feels SO horrible! I feel HORRIBLE. My stomach feels like hell on earth!
Oh God… I seriously hope this was just a temporary relapse and not an indicator that I haven't sucessfully cured myself! I feel totally weak and powerless. : (

Gummo: The boxes and crates are mostly sealed up but they have various markings on them. It looks like the kids of supplies you would need for a large hotel, mostly food and cleaning supplies in this load, with a few large crates marked medical. There are also six very large crates, each of which could easily fit a person or even two if you packed in tightly. Looking more closely at these, you can see that each contains two large canisters of compressed gas of some kind, surrounded by packing material. Theses aren't closed up very well, so it's easy to get one open to check. You could unpack a few of these and get it and close it up. If you took one crate each, the process would probably take about 15 minutes with all of you working together. Close examination of the crates reveals destination and shipping markers that indicate they are to be loaded on the 0900 train, which seems to be this one and which indicates it will be leaving within the next hour or so. The train doesn't look like it's going to be entirely full, either, so another possibility would be simply to wait for the loaders to finish and then hide under some boxes in the train car.
