Orbital Buffer Polisher
How do I fix my car paint?
My car has sat for 8 months and now the paint is very scratched and is starting to oxidize in many places. I was thinking of buying a buffer/orbital polisher but I'm unsure which one would work best. Does anyone have any advice or tricks to getting my car paint in good condition again?

Here's my normal wash & wax process which should take care of most of your problems with a little bit of work. It's a bit time consuming, but it's not as hard as it sounds.
-Wash with Dawn to remove all wax
-Clay.
-Wash with a mixture of Klasse All In One & water
-Klasse All In One
-Usually 3 coats of Zaino Z5 (with Zaino Z7 between coats)
-Usually 2 coats of Zaino Z2 (with Zaino Z7 between coats)
-Stand back and admire your work.
For the light scratches, try Meguiar's Scratch X or a rubbing compound. Between the clay and Klasse AIO, it should remove almost all oxidation. If your car is really bad, go with a rotary buffer (such as Porter Cable 7424) to help with your work (will really cut down on time needed and improve your work if used right). do i actually have to keep switching it on and off and it will go at different speeds each time it goes back on ? or will it spin at a random speed automatically without physically switching on and off ? im confused and dont want to cause paintburn.. i have never used this before i always waxed by hand ... and will it fade/ruin the pinstripe i have on my car?

With ether random sanders or polishers, keep the sander/polisher in contact with the surface if is, run without any load it will just spin, hold it close to the surface lightly touching, press the trigger and apply light pressure, a polisher flat to the surface a sander at a slight angle, with a polisher do keep it moving, be very careful of edges it is easy to polish through the paintwork.
