Does the TSA allow glass items in carry-on bags?
I need to transport some pint glasses and don't know if they are allowed through security checkpoints. I wonder if they consider the possibility of glass in any form of being broken into "nigger knives" and used for potential terrorism, or have they determined it to be safe?
Yes, mebo is right. Jennifer B is a little confused about the liquid/gel rule. They (the TSA) doesn't care if you have large containers, as long as they're empty. I carry a large 32oz water bottle (empty) with me every time I fly and fill it at any fountain.
I also would not check them, airline's aren't responsible for a lot, we're not shippers after all, so wrap them up nice, ball up tissues and stick that on the inside of the glasses, and you can carry them on just fine.
If TSA was worried about potential weapons, they wouldn't let use carry anything. Also, our mentality is different, before it was "just do whatever the terrorist says and we'll be fine" but the terrorists got worse and now we've seen that they will take down an entire plane and I don't know many people who will sit and let that happen, no matter what janky makeshift weapon the terrorist have, you know?

How do you deal with stress?
I've gained a lot of weight since the start of my Divorce, and other things in life have been happening that are equally stressful. I'm having a hard time coping with it physically. I do admit to stress eating sometimes, but nothing that includes eating a whole pint of ice cream or a bag of chips. I also struggle with anxiety disorder, that sometimes leads into depression spells. So the question is, How do you deal with stress? I need advice!
Good question. I am in college and i deal with a lot of stress, but the best way to deal with it is by exercising. Exercising is a good stress reliever and even though you probably won't feel like doing it running is the best when it comes to stress. I know going through a divorce can be hard and life is also hard but try to take your mind off of it by joining a gym or sport clubs etc. to get you through it.
