Planning to start a computer spare parts & repair workshop-need professional assistance and guidence to set up
Planning to start a small business ,computer spare parts and repair workshop in Goa, Please anyone can help me to guide and advice me to set up a establishment with all necessary arrangements.
I guess first you need to put together a list of basic parts you will need to do a fast repair.
Fans, Power Supplies, modems dah dah dah...
The cheapest parts that would go out first. I just hope you don't plan to get the cheapest parts. Get quality so your customers will come back.
After you plan a list of items for quick fixes. You need to have some on hand at all times so customers don't have to wait.
If they need memory, hard drives, motherboards or other stuff specific for different pc's then you would of course have to do over night fixes or whatever to have time to get the parts for their pc.
Make list of what it would cost you for each part.. then figure out what you would want to get for that part to have a quick price list to tell your customers. + labor costs.
this is all I got for now... or well I probably have more but then you would know everything I do and well that would just not be right... LOL...
I don't have a parts repair business but I do repair pc's for friends and family.....
I wouldn't hack up your parts prices to much so they will be willing to pay you for your labor costs..
cause they will start to notice they could have went and got it and put it in themselves way cheaper if you over charge..

Is there a special term for cooking with "spare parts" ?
Aside from the obvious adjectives of gross, disgusting, etc...
Is there a special culinary term for using spare parts of meats, as well cooking with them? Spare parts would be things like pig's feet, beef tongue, chitterlings, liver, poultry gizzard, etc. Example: Haggis is a dish made from sheep's heart, liver, and lungs, all stuffed into the sheep's stomach. (pardon me while I gag)
Why in the world anyone would want to eat "spare parts" is beyond me and the thought is almost enough to make me turn vegan.
Every culture has contributed recipes and food styles to modern cooking, and every culture has some form of "waste not, want not", in which every possible use is made of a slaughtered animal. There are many words (in many languages) that represent this. For example, "andouille", which is a popular type of spiced sausage, actually means "pig intestines" in French.
"Why...anyone would want to eat (such things)" is out of necessity. Or at least, it USED to be. There was a time when all the foods (meats, vegetables, whatever) consumed by a particular family were grown or produced by that family. They didn't have any choice (which is to say, they had little money, and there wasn't a supermarket nearby) but to make all possible use of the food available to them. Nowadays, people typically have a choice. If they consume a dish consisting of entrails, it probably represents their family/cultural tradition.
I can't think of a blanket term that represents this practice in general, but I think there must be one.

It happens I have several nibs and two 61 Gold Arrows in my spare parts fountain pen collection. These are clean and shiny. I have often seen some on sale on the eBay web site, they usually start with a $10.00 bidding price. Beware what kind of adhesive you use to glue it on the pen hood. Ink and water will affect most of them like cyanoacrylate “crazy glue”. Good epoxy appears to be more durable.
