What is the correct owner's manual to download?
I have a Hoover SteamVac L3000 and I lost the manual for it, but I want to shampoo my carpets. I went to the Hoover.com website and they list a number of different manuals.
The directions on the webpage said that I should look on the back of the vac to see what the number is (F5895900) and select the closest one without it being a newer model.
There are alot of different models that are fairly close, so how do I know which one is the right one I need? It has been awhile since I've done my carpets and I am needing to know the water to shampoo ratio. I also want to try to use the upholstery cleaner (something I have never tried) and I need to read up on how that works, as well.
Any help would be appreciated.

The progenitor of FS planning models is FORPLAN (and, yes, the real grey beards will point out that FORPLAN built on earlier efforts, too). The FS should have learned these lessons from its FORPLAN experience:
1) A one-model-fits-all-national-forests approach is doomed to failure;
2) Complex models that purport to forecast the future are only accurate by luck;
3) Decisionmakers should select the model(s), not planners, analysts, or other specialists;
4) Bureaucracies use complex models to hide key assumptions from outside scrutiny.
One science panel presenter put forward a Forest Service model that purports to link Global climate models to forest plan standards.
“B.S.” is the only sane response. Global climate models don't make regional predictions. Serious attempts to do so have admitted that the uncertainty bands far exceed the range of predictions. But is this uncertainty admitted in the FS's model? No.
you don't have bluetooth. The button doesn't work in 2008 and earlier models.
You can add a Parrott system which the dealership sells, but doesn't use the button.
There is also an aftermarket Fiscon system you can use as well (quite pricey though).
And in 2010, there is a bluetooth option, maybe you can get retrofitted.
