what is the best brand of vacuum sealer?
A brand that is easy enough to use and which utilizes replacement bags which you can readily replace I would think.
I have seen from time to time a jar that goes with the jar-type sealers in Goodwill. Not a whole lot at a time - usually one. It makes me wonder how good those are. I saw them demonstrated at Costco a few years back.
My niece has a commercial one to package their cheeses for their dairy and it seems as easy to use as a copy machine. Of course, the cheese is relatively hard and has a form.
Actually one of our sons bought us one for Christmas about 6 years ago. We have never used it. I remember taking it out of the box and reading the instructions and thinking, "Do I really want to go through all that trouble messing with the bags and all."
