Lately I have been getting the chills later in the evening. Any suggestions ?
Generally I take a hot shower, bundle up and take an aspirin. Does anyone else have this happen and what do you do to get comfortable? With winter coming I pile on the clothes.
I would seriously suggest you go see your GP and request that he tests your thyroid. Getting cold like that is a sign that all might not be well with your thyroid gland

My hot water heater won't stay lit?
We have a Reliant Hot water heater. Yesterday, no hot water. I tried lighting the pilot. Followed the instructions, saw the spark. It lit. Stayed lit for around 30 minutes, went out. I lit it several times, finally it stayed lit and we had hot water. Around 30 hours later, the pilot went out again. I went down to light it, now I can't get a spark that shows it's catching and lighting. My husband is in the hospital on a respirator, heavily sedated after having a heart attack and can't tell me what else to do. I'm pretty handy with tools, is there anything I can check myself, and if so, how would I go about doing it. No money for repair man, we just had our furnace repaired and it cost a bundle, savings depleted and no money coming in right now for service calls. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks!
Today I kept getting it to light, but it goes out after around 30-45 minutes. Is this still the thermocouple? I'll call the local hardware stores about replacing it.
It sounds like the thermo-couple is going out.
It's fairly simple to replace and comes with complete instructions.
Should be in the plumbing section of your local hardware store.
Probably $10-$20.
