I don't like my food saver. It does not always vacuum the air out and yes the bags are expensive.
The Reynolds, (as in Reynolds wrap), make a hand held battery operated vacuum sealer which is under $10.00 and the bags are reasonable and easier to re-use than the food saver.
Bought my Reynolds sealer at Ultra grocery store on shelf near Reynolds wrap etc.
Thats not a bad start. Im looking forward to the updated vid. Possibly more light in it?
No BPA in the vacuum sealing bags. No worries and no they don't taste like plasic. But if you are worried use a paper bag first. Better vacuum and longer shelf life. Check out Frontier Media Videos PMG Thom Dolder they have professional advise as it is what they do.
