Leaf Softens
What can I do to kill the insects that are living under the bark of the tree in my front yard?
I just noticed that the bark on the tree that was planted by the city along the sidewalk is coming off and loose. I pulled off a piece and discovered larva and crawling bugs and softened wood. Is there something I can spray to get rid of these insects and save the tree? Some of the leaves look limp also. Thanks.
You can use two way tape, wrap it around the tree at different levels. Also put something [ insect control] at the bottom of the tree. Also go to Home-Depot or Lowe's and ask them for help. c.d.

Can I take out my Overload Leaf to soften the ride?
I don't off road, and don't carry large loads...just tools. I read that taking out the overload leaf in my tacoma will soften the ride or at least lower the spring rate to reduce "bed hopping"? Is that dangerous or not recommended for any reason?
Remove it if you want but remember to re install it before selling the vehicle so the next owner is in no danger when they load it to the max.
Make sure you do not just "Oh it will be O.K. this time" over load the reduced capacity suspension system as well.
