Packaging Rolls
Is it okay to store rolls of used film in a cabinet for a few months?
Thing is I store up several rolls of flim (15 so far) after I use them, and when i build up several rolls I then send them in for developing....i just like getting a big package of hundreds of photos in the mail...
I keep the used rolls in a closed draw.
I may wait 6 months or more for the oldest rolls until i send them all in.
I don't think it has any bad effects.
Film can deteriorate over time, especially when subjected to changes in temperature and humidity. Many specialty stores store film in refrigerators. If you're going to wait and send in lots at a time, seal them in an airtight ziplock bag in the fridge.
