Hi xan! Thanks for visiting. I blanche and then freeze the broccoli florets. I finely chop any small pieces and stems to throw in omlettes or soups, also stored frozen. I also used the stems for two large batches of broccoli soup. They are prepped with everything but the cream and cheese, then frozen. The dairy gets added upon reheat. I finally purchased one of those vacuum sealers and had the pleasure of telling my husband he was right, I should have got one long ago!
"FoodSaver" be one of the better brands on the market (have one) butttt, the co$t is a bit high. 2nd link is for a' Deni on ebay that's a' pocketbook saver, might add that it has free Shipping & Handling, now as for the quality, that I'm not sure of… 3rd link is sealers and bags on ebay w/ their "Buy Now" option. Hope it helps out somewhat;)…
