Carry Take
Can you take a tote bag and a laptop case as carry ons?
I am flying continental monday morning, and on the website it says you can take a carry on and a laptop on the plane. Does that mean I can take my laptop case or just my laptop?

you can bring 2 bags....
personal item and then a carryon
so in your case you bring your tote and then bring your laptop in its case.
you could also do like a small suitcase (those carryon ones) and then your tote and you can put the lap top and more stuff in the suitcase thing...if you plan on taking more than what your tote can hold?

how long does it take to get a carry permit in Maryland?
My husband put in for his permit over 2 months ago. He is a retired police officer, but heard it is hard to get a carry permit in MD. He had an interview with a trooper 5 weeks ago. He is convinced that he is going to be denied because it has taken so long... I tried to tell him that the longer it takes has nothing to do with denial or granting, it is probably in processing.
Does anyone have any input or experience to confirm or deny my speculation?
If, as you see he is a retired officer, then he meets the criteria. I've done some digging but he is probably in the "awaiting approval" stage of the process after 2 months. Therefor, he should be approved within this month. With law enforcement it tends to boil down to 'priorities', they may just be 'backed to the the bench' with other applications and such. There's NO way to be for certain but he should be approved soon. As I said, this month he should get approved, though in gun-hammer states such as California, it has been known to take up to 6 months!

Ok first of all, these "mushrooms" are not like eating a natural mushroom. I have had these before and they are not the MAGIC HAPPY SHROOM that you make them sound like. These are not natural because chemicals have been added to them. If they were ok for you to eat on a regular basis then they would be sold in the stores and legal here in the US.
I think that you are right… you need to find new friends. Also, have you tried talking to your parents or get counsiling at the church. I have depression and a lot of the times when we feel that people are "neglecting" us is just our minds over-reacting. Honestly, I wouldn't tell you otherwise. I know that you don't know me but I believe that it's true.
If you feel that you can't talk to your family then maybe there is 1 good friend (not in the bunch that you spoke about) that you can share your feelings with. If not then please go to the doctor. They can help with this. Suicide rates are too high and I bet if your parents knew how you are feeling then they would totally trip out. You are loved by them and your siblings.
Please don't do the mushrooms. Oh, if you don't want to go to the doctor you can try some natural remedies for depression like St. John's Wart, 5-HTP, and vitamin b. You also need to try and identify what it is that started making you feel this way.
I hope that I have helped you somewhat. Please don't take mushrooms and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't think about suicide.
