Side Gusseted
how can I create gusseted sides and bottom bag in illustrator?
I am trying to create a bag/pouch die line with gusseted bottom and sides. I have no idea how to draw that to be able to glue it after. I can do bottom gusset or sides with no problem, but not both at the same time
please help
Do you have a sample bag that closely resembles the bag you are making? If not, find one that comes close in shape, size matters less.
Carefully open the glued sides and lay it out flat to give you the basic shape.
Work out your sizes and place guides on your Illustrator document to make it easier to draw the shape.
Using the Pen tool (so that you can create the shape you want instead of rectangles only), draw as much of the outline as you can, add the remaining lines using the Line tool.
