Yes,there are different code readers.Some just give the code,some give a description of the fault and others are even more advanced,like the Genesys system.
No,i don't think you have a claim on the first mechanic.These scanners detect problems,one by one,in most cases.So,it could have picked up a bad sensor.Once replaced,you delete the code,then another code will pop up.This may be something,like a bad cat,that damaged the sensor.See what i mean?
This is why i advise people get one of these scanners,for themselves.Yes,$200 is a lot of money.It is about an hour and a half of a mechanics labor cost,so it paye for itself,the first time you use it.

I have tried to grab samples online after i grab 8 samples at the concept store but the system prompted me that i can only grab the samples after 24 hrs from the time i grab the samples from the concept store even thou i got enuff points on the day itself.
Can anyone advise me whether is it 1 day can only grab max 8 samples from either online or at the concept store??
