Vacuum Sealed
Can I eat fish that has been in my freezer for 2 years? It looks good and is vacuum sealed.?
Fish doesn't keep in the freezer that long. If you eat it nothing probably will happen to you but the fish would have lost most of its nutrients so it would be like eating carboard. Why don't you just dump it and buy a fresh fillet and enjoy the flavor as well as the vitamins.

What do you know of the vacuum-sealed vaults in the Vatican library?
containing thousands of ancient esoteric books from around the world that have been stolen and hoarded over the years and kept out of public circulation?
Seems to be a lot of opinions.
Seems there is a lack of supplied evidence with those opinions.
What library doesn't treasure ancient books? And why is this associated with "greed" rather than responsibility?
No treasured documents are given to the public to handle and thus cause damage. If the Sorbonne did it this story would be one of "responsibility to the treasured documents."
It shows malice to consider the Vatican library any differently.

Actually I think they will be just fine. I did not know about the bread trick and I am going to try it. Cookies, to me, lose their freshness within 2 days and if a piece of bread with keep them moist, I am all for trying that. I keep a moist towel in a baggie with my brown sugar, keeps it from getting hard, like it can so easily. Thanks for the tip. Good idea on the vacuum seal, very clever.
